Shades of Classics begins its summer programming on July 6. Thus there will not be a Feature Work, Canadian Spotlight, or From the Archives feature. But the summer programs will be filled with great music, including a special feature called "Blast from the Past". This segment will feature some of my favourites in the rock and pop genres. Regular programming will resume on September 7.
Watch an interesting and informative documentary about the music of the fine Norwegian musician and composer Per Øystein Eira
Shades of Classics is being produced in my home studio before being aired on CKUW. There are new and original programs airing each and every week. Stay tuned for any updates on this situation.
And even though our FunDrive programs have past you can still show your commitment to Shades of Classics and your listener supported community access radio station by making a pledge online. You can do this anytime securely on the CKUW website.
