I am saddened by the recent passing of Susan Jacks, one of the finest Canadian singers ever.  She had the most beautiful voice, and sang with such passion and emotion!  I have many fond memories of her music, both solo and with the Poppy Family.  I am honoured to have had the pleasure of interviewing Susan a few years ago on Shades of Classics when she released the Christmas song "Mary Did You Know?".
May you rest in peace Susan.  You will remain in our memories, and your music will live on forever.

Shades of Classics continues to air every Sunday morning on CKUW 95.9 FM, but your host is not live in the studio due to regulations.  You will still be provided with original programs each week that are recorded in my home studio and aired by CKUW staff.  Watch this page for future updates on this situation.

And even though our FunDrive programs have past you can still show your commitment to Shades of Classics and our listener supported community access radio station by making a pledge online.  You can do this anytime securely on the CKUW website.
