Sit back and relax as Sarah leads you on a magical journey through Eden. It is an absolute treat to experience 'The Angel of Music' live, and this is the next best thing to being there! Sarah is once again at her very best, amazing us with her incredible vocals and outstanding stage productions. In this concert, recorded in South Africa at the start of the One Night in Eden Tour, she performs a considerable portion of the songs from EDEN, as well as several selections from her other albums. The concert opens with the very ethereal In Paradisum, which Sarah amazingly sings while laying on her back. This song flows seamlessly into the superb sensual song Eden, as Sarah rises to continue the show. Other notable highlights from EDEN include the beautiful So Many Things, the glorious Lascia Ch'io Pianga, the awesome Nessun Dorma, and the incredibly passionate Il Mio Cuore Va, which dampens my eyes everytime. The other songs performed that are taken from EDEN include Anytime, Anywhere, with its incredible vocal shifts, Morricone's Nella Fantasia, and Only An Ocean Away. Songs featured from Sarah's other albums include the heavenly Who Wants to Live Forever (Time To Say Goodbye), the beautiful ethereal songs Dive/Captain Nemo (Dive) and La Mer (Dive), performed while suspended in mid-air behind a wavy curtain to simulate being underwater, the Gibb brothers penned First of May (A Gala Christmas in Vienna), complete with falling snow, and highlights from Phantom of the Opera, including the gorgeous Wishing You Were Somehow Here Again. Other songs performed from Phantom of the Opera included Phantom Overture and Little Lotti, and Music of the Night, the first piece that Andrew Lloyd Webber wrote for Sarah. There is an obvious emotional attachment when she sings this beautiful song, and all too soon it brings this wonderful journey to an end. But not before a couple of encore pieces, the soulful Deliver Me (Eden), on which a local choir came on stage to perform backing vocals, and Sarah's signature piece, the ever touching Time To Say Goodbye (Time To Say Goodbye EP).
Following the concert is an exclusive interview with Sarah, where she talks about some of the selections she chose for the concert, as well as a peek into her views on life and the performance of her music.
