NEW SECRET GARDEN ALBUM  

"It’s been a while, and we hope you are all enjoying the summer season.  We have been busy finishing our new album and preparing it to be released.  We can now reveal the title… 'Songs In The Circle of Time'.  We know it’s a long title, but Rolf wrote an intro to the album outlining our thoughts and inspiration: For us, musical inspiration is timeless.  Influences range from the past three centuries to current day music – all accumulating into our own blend.  Maybe it all moves in circles and resurfaces at different times and places?  We think that this is a fair description of Secret Garden’s music and that’s why we titled this album “Songs in the Circle of Time.
We mostly recorded this time in Kongshavn Studio in Kristiansand, Norway, and then we travelled back to Dublin to the Hellfire Studio to record some of our favourite Irish traditional players, and finally we once again recorded the orchestra in Macedonia.  After finishing a very long 20 concert tour with our Christmas album “Sacred Night” in December last year, we went straight into production with “Songs In The Circle of Time”.  There have been some truly lovely moments throughout the process, and all the amazing musicians have played at their most brilliant best.
We will be launching the new CD at an open air concert in Oslo on the 24th of August."
The album is scheduled for release on September 20 by Universal Music.
